MARUHAN Japan Bank Lao Advances Youth Sports with 200 Million LAK Support to RNS Academy
In alignment with MARUHAN Japan Bank Lao Limited’s commitment to fostering youth talent, particularly in sports, the bank has donated 200 million LAK to the RNS Academy Sports Federation. This support comes as RNS Academy celebrates its remarkable victory at the U11 Peace Cup 2024 in Shenyang, Liaoning, People’s Republic of China. Presided over by Mr. Bounmy Sengphachan, CEO and Managing Director, alongside MARUHAN Japan Bank Lao Limited’s dedicated employees, the event underscored the bank’s ongoing dedication to empowering young talents in both urban and rural areas and strengthening community engagement through sports, especially soccer.
Ms. Phengta Sounvannameti, Vice President of RNS Academy, accepted the donation on behalf of the academy and its athletes. She highlighted the crucial role this funding plays in nurturing the academy’s growth and athletic success. Ms. Sounvannameti expressed her commitment to fostering future achievements for both the club and the nation, emphasizing that the funds will be used to support regional and international training opportunities for RNS Academy athletes.
